Kristin Gill started her career in acquisition with the Department of Defense Army Contracting Command and completed her Level 3 Contracting and Program Management Certifications. She led numerous multibillion-dollar source selections for the Army, including VIS-X and DCGS-A. Gill also completed a short tour in Iraq and Afghanistan with contracting leaders across the Army performing an audit for the secretary on contracting actions overseas.
After the Base Realignment and Closure of Fort Monmouth, N.J., Gill moved to the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she served as chief of acquisition execution for the Office of Information and Technology Product Development, and later in the Enterprise Program Management Office. She provided innovative acquisition strategies to OI&T leaders and developed policies and processes for OI&T acquisition. She also provided training to OI&T program managers on the acquisition process and source selections. Gill played a key role in acquisition strategy for major VA programs to include MASS.
Gill's background in government contracting, budget formulation, and project leadership and execution was a perfect fit for growth and capture at GovernmentCIO. She had an integral role in capture, proposals and pricing for the past year-and-a-half at GCIO, capturing $300 million in VA work.
Gill holds a finance and business administration undergraduate degree from Montclair State University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Monmouth University. She received numerous awards from both Army and VA leadership at the secretary and presidential level.
