Mark Western to manage advisory services and Steven Vito to manage GovernmentCIO Magazine
June 5, 2017 – GovernmentCIO (www.governmentcio.com), a Washington, D.C. based IT consulting firm, announces today the appointment of Mark Western as director, management advisory services and Steven Vito, president of GovernmentCIO Magazine.
Mr. Western is responsible for managing the expansion of GCIO’s advisory business. He brings a proven mixture of business and technology experience to this new position and has served federal clients for over thirteen years. Prior to joining GovernmentCIO, Mr. Western held executive and client management positions at Forrester Research and IBM.
Mr. Vito is responsible for managing the expansion of GCIO’s media. He brings deep experience across the spectrum media products - especially in the government market – to this newly formed position. Prior to joining GovernmentCIO Magazine, Mr. Vito held senior management positions with IDG Communications, Atlantic Media, Sage Communications and as a consultant to ABC7 was a co-creator of the TV program Government Matters.
