The National Surgery Office (NSO) is requesting enhancements to the Veterans Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) Surgery package. The requested enhancements include an enhanced real-time operating room (OR) schedule for planning, scheduling and coordinating of day-of-surgery needs. Additionally, improvements are requested for the entry of biologic and non-biologic implant information and the collection of clinical outcomes data for all surgical cases.
