UI & UX

GovernmentCIO employs User Interface (UI) design as part of a user strategy to provide well-designed interfaces that focus on anticipating what users might need so that the interface has elements that are easy to access, understand, and use. GovernmentCIO uses UI best practices to allow us to bring together concepts from interaction design (IxD), visual design, and information architecture to help our customers succeed.

Within User Experience (UX), GovernmentCIO incorporates all aspects of the end user's interaction with company services and products. We consider how the end user uses a product and the emotional response the user has to that interaction. GovernmentCIO addresses the end user's needs, both aesthetically and cognitively, by incorporating disciplines including information architecture, content strategy, UI design, functionality, and usability. Our goal is to incorporate the experiential and affective aspects of human-computer interaction into subjective research and evaluation pertinent to that particular product or user base. Through iterative testing and development, we can implement UX through all stages of a product’s development cycle to create a seamless end-user experience.
