WASHINGTON -- GovernmentCIO, a leader in government information technology and media research, has appointed Ryan Elliott as vice president of business development.
Elliott, who has 20 years of strategy, business development and capture experience in the commercial and federal government sectors, will lead full and open federal business development growth efforts across agencies such as Defense Health Agency, Department of Homeland Security and Department of Treasury.
Focusing largely on health and management consulting, he has held numerous leadership and growth positions with high-tech firms, "Big 4" management consulting firms, mid-sized and boutique companies, as well as service disabled veteran owned small businesses (SDVOSBs).
Elliott has played instrumental roles in creating strategic growth plans, building business development organizations and personally driving revenue growth overall at those companies, among them Availity, PwC, Adayana, Comprehensive Health Services and BNL, Inc.
He has a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from Bob Jones University and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is an Advisory Board member of the GWU Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, D.C.
Elliott assumed the role of vice president of business development as of September for GovernmentCIO, a dynamic, high-growth IT transformation firm based in the nation’s capital.
