GovernmentCIO Names Megha Chokshi VP of Data, Analytics and Strategy

WASHINGTON – GovernmentCIO, an established leader in government information technology and research, announced Megha Chokshi will assume the role of vice president of data, analytics and strategy.

Chokshi joins GovernmentCIO after 17 years with SAIC/Engility, where she served as director of VA programs and operations to support instrumental business operations and organic growth.  

Chokshi -- who brings more than 15 years of experience in business operations, account management, and leading strategic planning initiatives -- will develop innovative initiatives with GovernmentCIO’s Delivery VPs, who include Digital Services VP Erin Mirsky, IT Transformation VP Alex Brown, and Cybersecurity VP Daryl Eckard. Working with Chief Delivery Officer Kristin Gill, Chokshi will execute solutions for government IT transformation at multiple government agencies.

As a mission-driven leader, Chokshi has effectively engaged stakeholders to design winning strategies. With a focus on value-driven frameworks and building a culture of excellence, she has a deep understanding of federal agencies and integrators. Chokshi has also led multidisciplinary teams, focusing on transformation and implementation of business solutions within the Department of Veterans Affairs, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Department of Defense and the Internal Revenue Service.

Chokshi is well-versed in multilingual and strategic communications, policy and legislative issues, and public affairs. She is also experienced in IT budget analysis, acquisition strategies and planning, and managing client relations and negotiations.

She received a Master of Science in microbiology from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in India, and a Bachelor of Science in zoology and minors in chemistry and botany with distinguished honors.
