GovCIO Celebrates Recent Advancements at VA, NIH, USPTO

Washington, D.C. – GovCIO secured two contract awards supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Institutes of Health, and was downselected for a contract supporting the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

GovCIO received a contract to support the Paper Mail Conversion and Management Services program supporting the VA with automation and digitization of veteran’s benefits claims. As one of the prime contractors, GCIO will provide program management, applications development, integration support, quality control and risk management oversight. The T4NG Task Order was competed as a Fair Opportunity and has a 2-year period of performance. GCIO’s contract is valued at $99 million.

The second win is for a prime spot on the Large NIH Professional IT Program, Technical Services, and Strategy Mission Alignment of IT Services program under the NIH Center for Information Technology Blanket Purchase Agreement. The multi-award $50 million BPA was awarded to GCIO as a large business, along with 11 other large business primes and several small business awardees, out of a competitive pool of 38 companies. The scope of the BPA includes program management services, IT services, communications, cybersecurity and IT assessments, evaluations and solutions.

GCIO, competing as a large business, was one of 24 companies out of 229 total competitors to be selected to progress to the next phase of competition for the USPTO Business Oriented Software Solutions (BOSS) 10-year, $2 billion Full and Open IDIQ contract. The BOSS scope includes software development, architecture, design, testing, release management, UX design and Agile/scrum management.
