WASHINGTON -- GovernmentCIO, a leading government information technology and media research firm, increased the number of veterans working for the company by 71 percent..

GovernmentCIO CEO Brian Moran, a Navy veteran, has consistently made veteran hiring a priority. In July, the company hosted a veterans hiring event at its Washington, D.C., headquarters.

The boom of veterans hiring comes during a period of significant growth for the company as it has doubled in size over the past year. The growth follows the addition of three new Department of Veterans Affairs IT contracts for GovernmentCIO.

“We want to grow our team with the best. Hiring America’s veterans throughout our company allows us to do just that,” Moran said. “We have seen incredible benefits from their leadership and experience in the service.”
